Animal Physiology

Can you help me with my anatomy/physiology homework? What are pathogenic animals?
I forgot too bring my book home and I’m having a bit of trouble finding exactly what I’m looking for on the internet. Is it just an animal that spreads disease or something? Any help would be vastly appreciated!
A pathogenic organism is one which causes a disease in another organism. The most common are bacteria and viruses. Others include protozoa, fungi and even larger organisms like tapeworms!
Spreading disease is different. The malaria mosquito transmits pathogenic organisms to humans, but is not itself a pathogen.
